Once all the aspects of the settlement have been agreed upon by your Negotiator and your creditor, then comes your part. You are the only person that can fully authorize each settlement made with your creditors. Once you review the settlement and you agree with the terms, we move on the offer and ask that the creditor send a letter that outlines the terms of the agreement for our records.

Once the offer letter which states all the correct terms has been received, your negotiator will make payment to your creditor in the amount of the settlement. This is why it isn't considered a third party intervention, the account that we will make the payment from is in your name. This is not true with some of our competitors. Some Debt Relief companies do not help you set up a third party trust account that only you can authorize payments.

The creditor then updates your report as we have agreed and as stated in the offer letter, to show that it has been "Paid" with a "0" balance and to remove any late payments made on the account. This process continues all the way through the program until your last account is settled and you are debt free!
